      • Books have all been ordered but none have arrived, although bills for payment have.
      • Keeping our fingers crossed that these show soon.

  • Institute Clarification
    • Any updates - Marg?
      • Mary Jo refreshed our memories from our institute meeting held in September
      • Wondering if we should give Marian's differentiation book to participants who register
      • Marg is currently working on the save-the-date flyer which will be ready soon
      • Marg & Ken met online with StatusFirm yesterday regarding technology needs for Jan 26
      • Next institute meeting is Oct 12.
        • hoping to have a proposed timeline from Marian Small

  • Math SMARTboard Tools Training - 3/consortia
    • Who is in?
      • CPPFP - 3 teachers
      • CARC - 2 teachers
        • Date did not work for the majority of the areas
        • will have the above plus 32 teachers from SAPDC virtually
        • Hoping to be able to offer training again as per what Pat mentioned in an earlier email
          • Margo suggested that we work to set up a time that works for most and use those trained internally if we can't meet with SMART
          • Like the idea of building lessons that show how to use the tools
          • Would like to look at creating screencasts/vodcasts of how to use the tools meaningfully (beyond static lesssons)
          • Would like to create document that aligns outcomes with suggested tools (including SMART and others) similar to TPACK activity types

  • Moodle Project and Advertisement
    • Updates - SAPDC/CARC
      • Mary Jo provided a personal account of being one of the moodle teachers
      • Discussion around how to continue advertising this opportunity and how to get teachers on the site

    • Admin Toolkit Update
      • Math toolkit will be rolled out starting Nov 22 with SAPDC (F2F with Admin & Lead teachers within SAPDC)
      • Consortia Math Consultants – some time after that via Elluminate session (an hour)
    • Steven Leinwand will be doing a province wide follow up webinar in the spring as it’s the same message he gave in Edmonton and Calgary – follow up as one cohort as opposed to 3 separate webinars
